Farooq Abdullah

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah condemned the attack. Abdullah has said that the security forces deployed here to protect Jammu and Kashmir from terrorists are in collusion with the same terrorists. There is a nexus between the Indian Army and these terrorists. This enables terrorists to sneak into the state despite significant troop deployment on the Line of Control, terrorists can sneak into the state.

Farooq Abdullah stated, “Despite the large-scale deployment of the Indian Army on our borders today—one of the largest in the world—terrorists continue to enter, kill, and depart with ease.” “This clearly demonstrates the close collaboration between the army and terrorists,” Abdullah stated. They all want to destroy us, so they’re playing strategic games with each other.

The BJP has demanded an apology.

The BJP has condemned Farooq Abdullah’s statement. BJP leader and former deputy chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Nirmal Singh said, “Farooq Abdullah keeps making such controversial statements to remain in the media. No one takes them seriously. This is the same Farooq Abdullah who used to draw a line with terrorist Maqbool Bhat. He should immediately withdraw his statement and apologize to the Indian Army and the nation.” Such individuals are well known to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Farooq Abdullah’s statement comes after the Anantnag encounter.

Farooq Abdullah made this controversial statement during the ongoing encounter in Anantnag. This encounter resulted in the martyrdom of two Indian Army soldiers and the injury of another two. A joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army, and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Anantnag following information about the presence of militants there, a police official said. It is believed that two terrorists are hiding in the area.
