Eknath Shinde dropped a huge statement, taking the name of Bala Saheb, and said, This is the reason why he left Shiv Sena

In Maharashtra, even though assembly elections are still a while away, the political heat is already on the rise. Leaders from both the ruling party and the opposition are busy trading accusations, each trying to gain the upper hand. Amidst this growing tension, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has launched a serious attack on Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of Shiv Sena (UBT). In a candid podcast with news agency ANI, Shinde revealed that “Shiv Sena’s founder, Balasaheb Thackeray, never wanted Raj Thackeray, the leader of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), to leave the party, but Uddhav pushed Raj to the sidelines.”

During this podcast, CM Shinde praised Raj Thackeray for his loyalty and dedication, saying, “Raj Thackeray worked closely with Balasaheb, always following his guidance. Since 1995, Raj has been involved in every election meeting. But when it was time to hand over responsibilities within the party, Uddhav Thackeray stepped forward and took the lead.”

Balasaheb Thackeray Never Wanted Raj Thackeray to Leave

“The moment Uddhav Thackeray became the party president, Raj Thackeray was sidelined. This was against Balasaheb’s wishes. Raj, however, believed in strengthening the weakened Shiv Sena ideology, which led him to leave and form his own party. Today, Raj Thackeray is with us. In the last Lok Sabha elections, he shared the stage with us. This time around, while he may not be directly with us, he certainly isn’t against us either.”

No Decision Yet on the Chief Ministerial Candidate

When asked about who might be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, CM Shinde responded thoughtfully, “Our primary focus right now is on ensuring the Mahayuti alliance forms the government again. That’s where our efforts are concentrated. The decision on who will be the next Chief Minister will be made after we secure that victory. Our government has done a lot of historic work for Maharashtra’s welfare, and we believe the people want us back in power for that reason.”
