BJP alleges that “in this scuffle, two of its MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput were injured. Other MPs also suffered injuries.

After this incident, BJP, led by Union Minister Anurag Thakur, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, lodged a complaint against Rahul Gandhi in Parliament Street police station. By giving a complaint to the police, BJP accused Rahul Gandhi of being involved in ‘physical assault and provocation’ during the ‘scuffle’ in the Parliament premises.
Police may call Rahul for questioning
An FIR was registered against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament Street police station on Thursday night in the scuffle case. This FIR will be investigated by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police. According to media reports, Section 117 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) has been registered against him. An FIR was registered under sections 115 (voluntarily causing hurt), 125 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 131 (use of criminal force), 351 (criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (common intention) of the IPC. The police may call Rahul for questioning in connection with the case.

Congress also lodged a complaint with the police
According to the news, the police will request the Lok Sabha Secretariat to provide CCTV footage of the said place (where the incident took place). According to the police, “All the sections imposed against Gandhi except Section 117 are bailable. The punishment under Section 117 depends on the severity of the injury, which can range from seven years to life imprisonment.” Well, the Congress completely rejected this claim and alleged that BJP MPs pushed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and ‘shoved’ Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. The Congress has also lodged a complaint with the police in this matter.
