The Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted an international drug syndicate and seized cocaine worth Rs 5000 crore. Such revelations are now being made during the interrogation of the Special Cell, which has also stirred the political corridors of the country. The mastermind who transported this huge consignment of cocaine to Delhi has a special connection with the Congress.
According to the police investigation, the mastermind of the drug cartel is Tushar Goyal. He has been the chairman of the RTI cell in the Delhi Pradesh Congress till 2022. The accused has created a profile in the name of Diggi Goyal on social media, and there are pictures of him with many big leaders of the Congress. The profile of the accused has the word’ RTI Cell Chairman, Delhi Pradesh Congress’ written on it. During the interrogation of the Special Cell, the accused revealed that he was the head of the RTI cell of Congress Delhi till 2022.
The police investigation shows that cocaine worth Rs 5000 crore is linked to D Company in Dubai. Dubai is currently the headquarters of D Company. This place is now becoming a safe zone for the purchase of drugs. The name of a big businessman in Dubai also came up during this interrogation. He is said to be the main supplier of cocaine. Apart from this, the drug syndicate’s links are also connected to Mumbai. One of the accused arrested by the special cell is a Mumbai-based businessman.
Additional Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, P S Kushwah, said that the biggest-ever haul of drugs was seized from a godown in Mahipalpur on Wednesday. According to the police, around 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of “hydroponic marijuana” were seized. It is estimated to be worth Rs 5,620 crore in the international market. Four accused were also arrested in the case. The arrested accused have been identified as Tushar Goyal (40), Aurangzeb Siddiqui (23), Himanshu Kumar (27), all residents of Vasant Kunj in Delhi, and Bharat Kumar Jain (48), a resident of Mumbai. Tushar Goyal is the operator of this gang, and the rest are his associates.
