In this meeting, the names of candidates for about 49 seats were discussed. It is being told that the CEC has finalized the names of about 30 to 35 candidates. These names can be announced this week. Out of this, the names of 34 candidates have been finalized. This list also includes 22 sitting MLAs. The names of candidates for 15 seats have been kept on hold for now. The review committee will now discuss these seats. Deepak Babaria said that we will release the names of all the candidates this week.
Congress will give tickets only to leaders with clean images.
According to media reports, in this meeting, there was an in-depth discussion on the image of the leaders claiming tickets. It was decided in the meeting that the candidates who have serious allegations against them will be investigated. If they are found to have a clean image in the investigation, only then will they be given tickets. So that the message can be given that the party is not with the criminals.
Former CM Bhupendra Hooda will contest elections from his old seat.
