Every inch of land will be taken back from those who occupy land in the name of Waqf Board, the minority community is shocked by this statement of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Let us tell you that Chief Minister Yogi had raised questions on the Waqf Board and said that does the Waqf Board have any work or has it become a board of land mafia? The Chief Minister said that “his government has amended the Waqf Act (CM Yogi Waqf Board issue). Now every inch of land is being investigated. The lands of those who have illegally occupied land in the name of Waqf will be taken back. Development works like housing, educational institutions and hospitals for the poor will be done on those lands.”
Action will be taken against those who occupy Waqf land (CM Yogi Waqf Board issue)
Meanwhile, the big thing is that Sambhal’s Waqf Development Corporation Director Imran Turki seemed to agree with his statement. Agreeing with Yogi’s statement, Imran further said, “Such encroachments are happening in Sambhal as well. Many people have built houses on Waqf land. These illegal encroachments are happening everywhere. Our government is trying its best to remove these encroachments. Waqf land will not be allowed to be encroached at any cost. This is the objective of the government and we are working in this direction.” He further said, “It will not be tolerated at all that people encroach on Waqf land and then buy and sell it. If someone has encroached Waqf land (CM Yogi Waqf Board issue) and has sold it or has done its deed, then both the buyer and the seller will be put in jail.”
80 to 85 percent people have occupied the land illegally
According to media reports, Imran Turki said on this statement of Chief Minister Yogi that “The statement given by Yogi Adityanath is completely correct. There are about 35,000 properties in Uttar Pradesh, on which 80 to 85 percent people have occupied the land illegally. This will not be tolerated. Our government is continuously working on this and is trying to remove these illegal occupations (CM Yogi Waqf Board issue).” Meanwhile, Imran Turki also said that “We want schools, hospitals and other development works to be done on Waqf lands. For example, in Shahpur Dasar village of Sambhal, Waqf land has been freed from illegal occupation and an inter college has been built there, where good education is now being imparted. Similarly, a pavilion has been constructed on Waqf land in Pamasi. Our government is doing development work on Waqf lands. Whether it is Sunni Waqf Board or Shia Waqf Board, this work is being done for both.”
