BJP Withdraws First Candidate List for Jammu & Kashmir Elections

BJP released its first list of candidates this morning for the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir after ten years. They included the names of 44 candidates in this list. But due to unknown reasons, it was withdrawn within an hour. At present, no official statement has been issued by the party regarding this. It will be interesting to see whether all the names of the candidates in the first list released will be in the new list or will there be any changes?

Names of 44 candidates were released in the morning

BJP has released the names of 44 candidates in its list. In this list, the names of candidates for the assembly seats of all three phases have been released. Names of 15 candidates from the first phase, 10 candidates from the second phase and 19 candidates for the third phase were included. The final decision on the names of these candidates was taken in the meeting of the Central Election Committee of BJP held on Sunday evening.

BJP had entered the election with a new strategy

Let us tell you that, BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of BJP National President JP Nadda. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present in this meeting. The committee approved the names of the candidates after discussing many names. BJP’s first list had big names like former Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavindra Gupta and State President Ravindra Raina. It is clear from this list that BJP had entered the election field of Jammu and Kashmir with a new strategy this time. Not only this, in this list, BJP has given more opportunities to new and young faces.
