A total of 17 Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in about 4 cities of Maharashtra have been arrested by Maharashtra’s ATS (Anti-Terrorist Squad). According to officials associated with ATS, these arrests have been made under a special operation. He said that “ATS with the help of local police conducted a campaign in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Nashik cities this week. Under which a total of 17 foreign nationals living in Maharashtra without any valid documents have been arrested. According to sources related to the police, they have been arrested on charges of entering India without permission and living in the country without valid documents.

14 men and three women arrested

According to the information received in this case, the police had received secret information that many Bangladeshis are living illegally in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Nashik cities of Maharashtra. Due to this intelligence information, a special campaign was conducted and raids were conducted in these cities. In this sudden raid, Maharashtra ATS has detained a total of 17 Bangladeshi citizens. Let us tell you that ATS with the help of local police conducted a campaign in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Nashik cities this week and arrested these Bangladeshi citizens. Which includes 14 men and three women. According to the police, these accused have been booked under Foreigners Act and Ten different cases have been registered under other related laws.

After this, Maharashtra ATS conducted a search operation in many other cities including Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Nashik on Wednesday, after which these arrests could be made. Now the Indian government has also started responding to the atrocities of Yunus government on minority Hindus living in Bangladesh. The Indian government has opened a front against Bangladeshis living illegally and under this, arrests have intensified. Action can be taken in other states in the coming days.
