According to media reports, Bangladesh’s main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) general secretary, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Almagir, has spewed venom against India. Alamgir said that “India has not done well with Bangladesh by giving shelter to Sheikh Hasina. India should hand over Sheikh Hasina to us. ”
At least 25 cases have been recorded

Sheikh Hasina is now plotting to crush revolution in India
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said in a conversation with the media, “We have an appeal to India to legally hand over Bhagori Sheikh Hasina to our government. The general public and court of Bangladesh have decided to prosecute him. Let them face those lawsuits by sending them here.” With this, Alamgir said that “India has not cured Sheikh Hasina with us by giving her shelter here. It does not conform to the democratic principles of India.” Alamgir alleged that “Sheikh Hasina is now plotting to thwart and crush the revolution that took place here in India.”
All the cases recorded on Sheikh Hasina are false and politically motivated
With this, Alamgir threatened India and said that “India does not think that it will shelter Sheikh Hasina, the enemy of Bangladesh, and will get love from the people here. So in time, give Sheikh Hasina to India.” However, his party, the Awami League, has criticized the interim government of Bangladesh for the cases recorded against Sheikh Hasina. The Awami League says that all the cases recorded against Sheikh Hasina are false and politically motivated.
