Supreme Court lawyer Mohammad Monir Uddin’s argument rejected
According to media reports, Bangladesh Supreme Court lawyer Mohammad Monir Uddin presented some newspaper related news related to ISKCON before the High Court bench on Wednesday and requested the court to take suo motu cognizance in this regard and direct the government to ban the organization and impose Section 144 in Chittagong, Rangpur and Dinajpur. Earlier, the court had asked the Attorney General to give information about the steps taken by the government in relation to the recent activities of ISKCON. Let us tell you that on Thursday, the Attorney General’s office presented this information before the bench of Justice Farah Mahboob and Justice Debashish Roy Chowdhury in the High Court when the proceedings began.

33 accused have been arrested
According to the information, the bench expressed hope that “the government should be vigilant about the law and order situation and the safety of life and property of the people of Bangladesh.” The big thing is that he made this comment when Additional Attorney General Anik R. Haq and Deputy Attorney General Mohammad Asad Uddin told the high court bench that “three separate cases have been registered in connection with the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif and the activities of ISKCON and 33 accused have been arrested in these cases.”
