Baba Siddique murder case

The Mumbai Police has conducted a bone ossification test on one of the accused arrested in connection with the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The accused, Dharmraj Kashyap, a resident of UP, had claimed to be a minor, but the bone test did not confirm it. The police presented the test result in court, after which the court refused to consider the accused a minor and sent him to judicial custody until October 21.

In fact, the lawyer of the accused had claimed in court that Dharmaraj Kashyap is still a minor. The court then directed the Mumbai Police to conduct an ossification test of the accused and produce him before the court. An ossification test is done to find out the age of a person. In this, on the basis of bone fusion, it is known how old the person is.
