Today is Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s death anniversary of veteran leader and former Prime Minister Pandit Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
On this occasion Prime Minister Narendra Modi and His Excellency President Draupadi Murmu along with all the big leaders of the Indian public paid tribute to him by visiting his memorial site ‘Sadaiv Atal’. Along with this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister JP Nadda also paid tributes to the former Prime Minister on his death anniversary.

Pandit Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) was born in the year 1924 in Gwalior. His greatest distinction is that he was the first non-Congress Prime Minister to complete his term. Let us tell you that Atalji was the Prime Minister of India from 16 May 1996 to 1 June 1996 and again from 19 March 1998 to 22 May 2004. Not only this, he also served as the External Affairs Minister of India from 1977 to 1979 in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Morarji Desai.

On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that “He worked to make the country strategically and economically strong during his tenure.”

Let us tell you that on his birthday Sushasan D Celebrated as Vasa. In the year 2014, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna. He passed away 6 years ago today i.e. on 16 August 2018 at AIIMS Hospital, Delhi.
