All the opposition parties of the country have started targeting the government. In this connection, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has cornered the Bharatiya Janata Party on the issue of one country, one election. Kannauj MP Akhilesh said on Friday that “this is BJP’s Jugaad to win the elections.” On this, Akhilesh said that “For this, constitutionally elected governments will have to be dissolved in the middle. This is a conspiracy to hijack the election system. Due to this, the election will become a mere show process. “
One Country, One Election” Bill is the biggest threat to democracy – MP Sanjay Raut
Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Friday criticized the “One Country, One Election” Bill and called it the biggest threat to democracy. Not only this, Sanjay Raut accused the BJP of forming the government in Maharashtra by tampering with EVMs. According to media reports, while addressing the press conference, Sanjay Raut said that “No proper amendment or research has been done in this regard. Modi ji always speaks his mind. He never thinks about what is in the mind of the public or what is in the mind of the people of the opposition. I doubt whether Modi will remain the Prime Minister till 2029. This is the biggest threat to democracy. Your governments in Maharashtra, Delhi, these are not governments formed by democracy. These are governments formed by EVMs.”

There are advantages as well as disadvantages of this.” Meanwhile, JDU MP Sanjay Jha supported the One Nation One Election Bill and said that “this will ensure that development work is not hampered due to frequent elections.” He said that after independence, elections used to be held simultaneously in the country.
