Part 4: Akhand Bharat: A Vision for the Future, Can It Happen?

Akhand Bharat Part 4.

Here, we will learn in detail about the future of our united India.

  • To create a united India, we should not give air to the absurd talk of destroying Pakistan by dropping nuclear bombs on it.
  • Over time, our ancestors may have changed their worship due to unavoidable circumstances, but culturally, we are all one. We must make our neighboring countries understand this. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma, Afghanistan—all these countries were once integral parts of a united India.
  •  Today, Nepal and Bhutan, which are independent but are India’s siblings, are excellent examples of this.To achieve cultural unity with our neighboring countries, we must become more organized and powerful as a nation. To achieve this, it is crucial to awaken our sense of self. We must fortify our vibrant cultural traditions. We must destroy the distortions within us. We must reawaken our culture’s inclusiveness.
  • While awakening the “self,” we will have to avoid the mistakes of history. For example: During the time of India’s independence, Rana Chander Singh of Amarkot, Rajasthan, had the option to merge with India. However, he chose to merge with Pakistan due to his long-standing enmity with his home state of Jodhpur. King was Hindu, subjects were Hindu, but still Rana Chander Singh took the suicidal decision of merging with Pakistan because Jodhpur state merged with India.
  •  Pakistan changed the name of Amarkot to “Umarkot” in accordance with its inherent nature. Here, we understand the difference between Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Today, the condition of Hindus in Umerkot is pathetic. While awakening the “self,” we have to take care of the “self” by avoiding these mistakes of history.

Take a pledge for undivided India and celebrate this national festival.

what is Akhand Bharat?

  • Inspired by national ideas, people celebrate August 14th as “Akhand Bharat Sankalp Din.” Except for select individuals, many people, however, do not even consider or know about the relevance of this ‘Akhand Bharat’. Why then “Akhand Bharat”? This serves to clarify its ideological purpose.
  • Smritibrants had Shrimad Bhagwad Gita A.2 Shro. 63 || Buddhinasho Buddhist Asha Pranashyati
  • Yogeshwar’s According to Lord Krishna in the Gita, a person experiences amnesia when his memory is distorted; thus, his intellectual, or knowledge, power is lost. His core prejudice vanishes. Undermining the mind unavoidably leads to ruin. As he loses intellectual capacity, he becomes unaware of who his adversaries are. His buddies are who?His friends are what? His “enemies’ point of view” ends.
  • Apart from the celebration of freedom, the British left behind the terrible scar of division. That wound still causes sorrow for us. Despite the nation’s division on August 14, 1947, we achieved independence on August 15.
  • When a nation loses its historical memory, its intellect deteriorates, and its hostility quickly evaporates. What is the fate of such a civilisation or nation? Consider the people of Greece, Egypt, and compare them to today’s Iran, Lebanon, and the Philippines. If a civilization fails to pass on the bitter memories and lessons of its past to future generations, what will become of it? Fervent Jihadi Islamic expansionism shattered their initial cultural identity, and a few decades later, they found themselves reduced to small territories.
  • Understanding the causes of the division can help one understand why ‘Akhand Bharat’ exists. This calls for an objective historical study conducted with complete regard for all the outstanding men of that age. “We are a nation in the making,” the first Prime Minister, Jawahralal Nehru, used to say consistently. As a result, we are still developing into a country. The true reason for 150 years of British rule is that the British effectively ingrained in our society the belief that we were not a ‘country’ prior to their arrival. However, if we examine ancient history, evidence of India as a nation spans the Mahabharata period through the reign of Emperor Ashoka and Chandragupta Maurya.

However, the actual conflict between Hindus and Muslims began when the British eradicated the sense of nationalism in this region. Despite the diversity of religions, distinct states, sects, dialects, clothes, and diets, the Hindu culture that originated in the region of the Indus River connects them all. During the first struggle for freedom in 1857, the last Mughal king, Bahadur Shah, announced his name as “Hindustan ka Badshah” using this thread of togetherness. It represents the fact that he was embraced as king by the whole country at the time.

The partition of Bengal in 1905 reveals the core of the British nefarious agenda. Our leaders should have recognized their deceitful conspiracy and learned the correct lesson from it. The enormous popular indignation against this, however, made the British retreat more difficult. The Hindu-Muslim split, which culminated in the Bengal separation movement, posed a significant risk to the British authorities. The next link in the chain is the needless appeasement of Muslims.

That is to say, the acts carried out behind Muslim society’s involvement in the national struggle were unacceptable, regardless of how pure the strategy was. Islamic Guru Aga Khan, inspired by the British, advocated “Morley-Minto Reforms,” a separate Muslim voting district. It would be accurate to say that this demand served as the foundation for the two-nation idea. The Khilafat movement that followed met this demand with greater force.

Even though Mohammad Ali Jinnah may be the actual architect of the split for us, Mahatma Gandhi and the previous Congress leadership consistently disregarded Jinnah and acknowledged extremists like Aga Khan and Ali Khan as the official representatives of the Muslim community. This approach transformed the once-nationalist Jinnah into a formidable separatist leader. Following this, Jinnah made 14-point requests in the Muslim League’s 1928 convention, which obliquely expressed demand for Pakistan. Every political event that followed heightened this need, ultimately leading to the division of India on August 14.

With a strong Taliban ideology, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, now known as Afghanistan, has transformed into a territory devoid of Hindu civilization. The division of India and Pakistan occurred not long ago. It was there a few decades ago. However, when Indians are asked about the partition today, they respond, “Yes, there were some riots in Punjab.” These four lines sum up their narrative of the partition: numerous Hindus lost their lives in Bengal, while thousands of Hindus and Sikhs fled to India in trains as refugees from Pakistan. Hindu memory is what this is.

Was it really that easy? Some people in India and abroad think that India gained independence very easily and did not have to pay much for it. In reality, the partition claimed the lives of millions of people without any criminal activity. They had to sacrifice their lives. Millions of mothers and sisters saw their honor plundered. Spears picked up small children and killed them. However, the freedom struggle primarily demanded peace and non-violence! Can you name ten people today who went through the pain of being separated from their innocent brothers? So the answer is ‘no’. With their lives, they paid the price for our freedom. We forgot them!

The Jews also suffered a similar massacre. In concentration camps, more than sixty lakh Jews lost their lives. But they never forgot their wounds. After Israel was established, every German officer involved in the Holocaust was captured from all over the world, tried, and hanged. Some were killed on the spot. How many Muslims faced prosecution for the Partition massacre? Was a symbolic trial even held in India against the murders of Suhrawardy, Jinnah, and Qasim Rizvi?

The Congress consistently claims that the League’s persistent and violent ‘Direct Action’ actions forced the partition to be accepted. But what would have happened if the partition had not been accepted? Civil war! That happened even after the partition! Conversely, this unofficial civil war resulted in increased levels of violence. A similar event was sparked by the issue of slavery in America, which is often referred to as the world’s first modern democracy. But the then President of America, Abraham Lincoln, gave more importance to the integrity of the country than the question of partition or civil war, and today the history is before us. The question arises as to how the highly educated Nehru and other members of the Congress class managed to forget this history.

In his reply to Leonard Mosley, Pandit Nehru says, “The reality is that we have grown old. We were exhausted of struggling. Had we opposed partition, we would have had to wait for a few more years for independence, and we were not mentally prepared for this. Had we stuck to the 1930 Lahore proposal of undivided India and complete independence, the situation would have changed.” It’s important to note that the Muslim community only supported the League after the Congress approved the partition proposal. It’s important to note that the Muslim community only supported the League after the Congress approved the partition proposal. It’s important to note that the Muslim community only supported the League after the Congress approved the partition proposal. It’s important to note that the Muslim community only supported the League after the Congress approved the partition proposal. Before this, less than 25 percent of people were supporters of the League. In the 1945 elections, the League failed to secure the necessary majority to independently form a government in the areas proposed for Pakistan. In other words, the League’s demand would have been denied and the British would have gained independence if the Congress had adhered to undivided India.

Amnesia…

Amnesia means losing memory…! The only recommended treatment for this disease is to repeatedly recall those things. Amnesia appears to have engulfed the entire Hindu society.

Today we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. We have completed 75 years of independence. LoLooking back, we know that the country’s partition in August 1947, which resulted in more than 10 lakh deaths and forced about 1.80 crore people into exile, was the biggest price of independence It is difficult to forget the partition, but its memory is even more dangerous,’ said the famous writer Krishna Sobti, who herself faced exile. The violence that took place during this biggest displacement in human history was unbelievable. The atrocities committed on innocent women and children were extremely shocking. This period witnessed the brutal violation of all human values. The exiles’ anger and despair were blazing and terrible; the distinction between man and animal had vanished.

While reading the history of the freedom struggle, we always feel that we are reading the history of the Hindu-Muslim problem and its solution. This was a power struggle between the British, Hindus, and Muslims. The Indians desired independence from the foreign British. We refer to this as India’s journey towards independence. The Hindu-Muslim dispute revolves around who should hold the power after India’s independence. Hindus expressed their desire for democracy, while Muslims asserted that, having ruled this region for 800 years, they should inherit the power. The history of partition encompasses more than just the events that followed the Muslim League’s 1940 demand for partition. The history also encompasses the reasons leading up to that demand. These reasons extend beyond the British era. These reasons have been present in history since the era of Hindu-Muslim relations.

In one of his speeches, Jinnah asserts that the first Hindu to convert to Islam in India sowed the seeds of Pakistan. “It is a historical fact that Muslims have never been able to integrate into the national life of a country in which they are a minority. But if they become a majority in a particular region of that nation, they have demanded a separate nation by creating riots there. The Muslim population in the Philippines is four percent, but they became a majority on an island and revolted for a separate nation. Today, similar events are occurring in Kerala and Bengal in India.

The arrival of the British in India effectively ended the rule of Muslims. Despite their status as a minority, their birthright and mindset of becoming rulers received a significant blow. Until the British rule came, they never realized that they were a minority. M.J. Akbar has said, “For Muslims, being a minority is not a question of numbers but a criterion for being a ruler. As long as Muslims feel that they are an important and decisive element worthy of becoming a ruling class, they do not feel that they are a minority. During the Mughal Empire period, did Indian Muslims consider themselves a minority? And did the Muslims of Hyderabad State consider themselves a minority even 90 years later, in 1947, when the Nizam was sovereign?” The attempts of the Delhi Emperor in 1857 and the Nizam of Hyderabad in 1947 to become rulers failed, and the Muslims there suddenly became a minority from then on.

Muslims are an independent nation.’ Sir Syed Ahmed first presented this theory in 1887. ‘Two-natThe ‘Two-nation’ theory applies to countries where Muslims are a minority; in countries where they are the majority, there is only one Muslim nation.  no room for other cultures there. Pujya Dr. Hedgewar, while speaking about the Hindu-Muslim problem, says, “It is wrong to call Muslims traitors. Calling them traOur country’s name is Hindustan, not Hindusthan. Hindustan will not include Hindusthan or Islamicsthan. . When their actions harm the nation, they should be called enemies. When their actions future,e nation, they should dharamshala, enemies. The name of our country is Hindustan, not Hindusthan. Hindustan will not have Hindusthan or Islamicsthan. Such efforts should be made. Hindustan belongs to Hindus, and it should remain so in the future too. This is not a Dharamshala where anyone can come and spread his bed. Only those who have the same history, tradition, society, religion, culture, ideology, and interests form a nation. People with oppositeDespite this, there is a misconception among the youth that those who come here to either destroy or befriend Hindustan should beThe cat will absorb the mouse into its stomach, marking the recognition of their friendship. ble to be friends with those who are fighting to defeat each other. Friendship between a cat and a mouse is impossible. The mouse will be absorbed in the stomach of the cat; only then will their friendship be recognized. “There will be friendship!” (Dr. Hedgewar, Nana Palkar, p. 338.373) This makes us understand how important the feeling of enmity is for Hindus.

Hindu-Muslim coexistence is not possible, so in 1947 partition took place on the basis of religion. But a large Muslim section remained here. They now live here, dreaming of Ghazwa-e-Hind and creating riots. Once their population increases enough to cause partition, Hindu-Muslim coexistence is not possible, so will Hindus accept another partition? We must acknowledge that partition represents the final opportunity for Hindus to establish themselves as a robust and influential nation on the global arena.

No more partition now, never. If Hindus do not learn a lesson from partition, small Pakistans will be created everywhere. Today, wherever Hindus are afraid of Islamic terrorism in India, those areas are Pakistan in disguise. If we define Pakistan as the areas affected by Islamic terrorism in the former Akhand Hindustan, then Hindus in every village should be vigilant about the potential creation of smallWe should comprehend the ideology of Pakistan we desire Akhand Hindustan, it must have a majority of Hindus and be heavily influenced by Hindus. To bring the concept of ‘Akhand Bharat’ into reality, it is essential to have a feeling of cultural unity among the citizens of the entire subcontinent. Many people feel that this is not feasible. But the examples of Germany and Vietnam are before us. We should not forget that national life has been ongoing in this land of Bharat since ancient times. While the number of individuals who subscribe to the concept of Akhand Bharat may be relatively small, it’s important to remember that a determined minority can shape history. Today, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and some other organisations are working to keep such a subject alive in the minds of people for a long time. This is for sure: India will again become Akhand. But when will it happen? It depends on our efforts.

No matter how heartbreaking and sad the event is, it is necessary to study its history objectively and not emotionally. Partition or independence of India is not only history; it is the present and the future. As long as the causes and consequences of partition persist, the burning memory of it will linger on the forehead of Hindus, akin to “Ashwatthama’s bleeding wound.” The question, “What are you doing to destroy India due to partition?” will continue to haunt Hindus for eternity.
