Ajit Pawar away from PM Modi’s rally but why?

Ajit Pawar absence PM Modi rally

Voting for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra is to be held on November 20. In such a situation, seeing the election date coming closer, all the political parties are busy campaigning vigorously. Everyone is trying their best from their side. There is a tug of war going on between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra. On one hand, while Mahayuti is restless to return to power, on the other hand, MVA is also trying to turn the tables. Meanwhile, something different is cooking up in the constituent parties of Mahayuti. This is because despite being together, Ajit Pawar and his party Nationalist Congress Party are keeping distance from the stage.

Ajit Pawar did not participate in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mumbai rally

Actually, Ajit Pawar, who is part of the Mahayuti government, did not participate in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mumbai rally. Not only this, neither did he himself attend PM Modi’s rally nor did any senior leader of his party attend. Let us tell you that on Thursday, PM Modi addressed a public meeting at Shivaji Park Ground in Mumbai. During this, senior leaders of Shinde faction’s Shiv Sena and Athawale’s party were present. In such a situation, Ajit Pawar’s absence in PM Modi’s rally as Deputy CM is raising many questions in itself.

He had openly opposed the slogan ‘Batenge to kateng’

It is obvious that despite being in alliance with BJP, Ajit Pawar’s absence is telling a lot. Is it that Ajit Pawar is apprehensive of internal sabotage? This is because Ajit Pawar is constantly giving such signals, which makes it seem that there is a rift somewhere between the parties of the Mahayuti. The rift is being said because before this Ajit Pawar had openly opposed the slogan ‘Batenge to kateng’ of CM Yogi and BJP. Actually, UP CM Yogi Adityanath announced this slogan from the stage in Maharashtra. After this, Ajit Pawar strongly objected to this and said that leaders from other states come and give such statements in Maharashtra, whereas all this does not happen here.

There is a fear of Muslim voters shifting

Apart from this, despite the objection of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar gave ticket to Nawab Malik. Not only did he give the ticket but also openly campaigned for Nawab Malik. And fearing the Muslim voters shifting, he gave tickets to many Muslim candidates like Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui, Sana Malik. According to sources, the BJP had objected to this, but Ajit Pawar did not listen to them.

Can he seek refuge in uncle Sharad Pawar again after the election results?

Not only this, in a conversation with the media before the Maharashtra elections, Devendra Fadnavis has also accepted the internal opposition within the Mahayuti. He said, “These elections are strange. We will know only after the results who is with whom.” There is internal contradiction within the Mahayuti as well. Needless to say, these are some such signs which clearly show that Ajit Pawar has something else brewing in his mind. It is possible that after the election results, he may again take refuge in uncle Sharad Pawar.
