Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has targeted BJP and Election Commission by criticizing them in a press conference. Kejriwal claims that a large number of voters’ names have been deleted from the voter list just before the Delhi Assembly elections. Most of them are Aam Aadmi Party supporters. In fact, the National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party said that “BJP has filed applications with the Election Commission of India to delete the names of thousands of voters in Janakpuri, Shahdara, Laxmi Nagar and other seats.” Not only this, Kejriwal also said that “BJP has applied to delete the names of 11,018 voters in Shahdara area. When we reviewed the applications related to 500 names, it was found that 75 percent of the people are still living there. But their names can be deleted from the voter list.”
In the investigation, out of 500, 372 people were found at their addresses.
He made serious allegations against the BJP and said that the BJP has applied for cancellation of votes on its letterhead. In the last one and a half months, they have applied for cancellation of votes of about 11,000 people. In the applications given by the BJP, it is said that “these 11,018 people have either shifted or have died. Meanwhile, when we investigated at our level, out of 500, 372 were found at the same place. The news of their shifting was proved to be false. According to this, it means that 75% of their list is troublesome.”

Meanwhile, he said that “In the last election, the AAP party had won the Shahdara assembly seat by about 5,000 votes. He alleged that now the names of about 11,000 voters are being deleted in that constituency and most of these voters are AAP supporters. Meanwhile, Kejriwal urged the Election Commission to upload all the applications on its website by evening to ensure transparency.
