According to the Delhi Police, the Unani doctor murder was carried out by 2 minor boys together. The accused entered the Neema Hospital located in Khadda Colony of Jaitpur Extension Part-2 and shot the doctor. After the incident, the two accused fled from the spot. Police are now questioning a minor in custody, while the other minor is said to be 16 years old. Multiple police teams are searching for him.
The Delhi Police Crime Branch, the minor boy, who was in custody, said during interrogation that he had gotten his treatment done by the deceased doctor; at that time, the doctor had taken more money from him for treatment. Since then he was angry and shot dead the doctor along with his friend. However, the police believe that the story is false. Therefore, the police are also questioning a nurse at the nursing home and her husband based on suspicion.
South Delhi Joint Commissioner of Police S. K. Jain told the media that the two minor boys who killed the doctor were residents of the same locality. After reaching the hospital, the two minors first met a compounder for dressing and later entered the Unani doctor’s cabin and shot him. The entire incident was caught on the hospital’s CCTV camera. After the incident, the police arrested one of the accused from Hapur, SK Jain said. Police have formed six teams to nab the accused.
