On Wednesday, people have decided the fate of a total of 4,136 candidates at 1,00,186 booths in all 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra Assembly. A total of 65.11% voting has taken place in this election. In this election, BJP, which is part of the Mahayuti alliance, fielded its candidates on 149 seats, Shiv Sena on 81 seats and Ajit Pawar-led NCP on 59 seats. On the other hand, Congress, which is part of the MVA alliance, has fielded 101 candidates, Uddhav Sena on 95 and Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) on 86 candidates. Apart from this, BSP has fielded 237 candidates and AIMIM has fielded 17 candidates.

The special thing is that in most of the exit polls of Maharashtra assembly elections, the return of Mahagathbandhan has been predicted once again. Let us tell you that in Maharashtra, 6 out of 10 exit polls are in favor of Mahagathbandhan. One has not given majority to anyone. Three exit polls have predicted the return of MVA to power. In this way, in the exit polls that came out after the voting on 288 assembly seats of the state, it has been predicted that Mahagathbandhan will get majority and MVA will sit in opposition.

  1. Matterize has said in its exit poll that Mahayuti can get 150 to 170 seats in the state, while MVA is expected to get 110 to 130 seats. It is being said that 8 to 10 seats will go to the account of others.
  2. Chanakya Strategies has said in its exit poll that the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance can get 152 to 160 seats in the state. Chanakya Strategies has given 130 to 138 seats to MVA in its exit poll. 6 to 8 seats are expected to come in the account of others.
  3. Poll Diary has predicted 122 to 186 seats for Mahayuti in its exit poll. Similarly, MVA has been predicted to get 126 to 146 seats. Others have been predicted to get 12 to 29 seats.
  4. PMRARC has predicted the Mahayuti government in its exit poll. Mahayuti has been predicted to get 137 to 157 seats and MVA 126 to 146 seats. Others have been predicted to get two to eight seats.
  5. Republic Exit Poll has indicated the return of the Mahayuti government in its exit poll. Mahayuti has been predicted to get a total of 137 to 157 seats and Mahavikas Aghadi 126 to 146 seats.
  6. People’s Pulse Exit Poll has indicated the return of the Mahayuti government in its exit poll. Mahayuti has been predicted to get a total of 175 to 195 seats and Mahavikas Aghadi 85 to 112 seats. On the other hand, 07 to 12 seats have been said to go to the account of others.

Loktantrik Maharudra has indicated in its exit poll that no alliance will get majority. Mahayuti has been predicted to get a total of 128 to 142 seats and Mahavikas Aghadi has been predicted to get 125 to 140 seats. On the other hand, others have been predicted to get 18 to 23 seats.

These exit polls have indicated the return of the MVA government

  1. Bhaskar Reporters Poll has indicated the return of the MVA government in its exit poll. Mahayuti has been predicted to get a total of 125 to 140 seats and Mahavikas Aghadi has been predicted to get 135 to 150 seats. On the other hand, others have been predicted to get 20 to 25 seats.
  2. SAS Exit Poll has also indicated the return of the MVA government in its exit poll. Mahayuti has been predicted to get a total of 127 to 135 seats and Mahavikas Aghadi has been predicted to get 147 to 155 seats.
  3. Electoral Age has indicated the return of the MVA government in its exit poll. The Mahayuti is expected to get a total of 118 seats and the Mahavikas Aghadi 150 seats.

While on one hand the ruling Mahayuti alliance is trying its best to retain power once again, on the other hand the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is hoping to return to power in the state by performing well in this state election like the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, the result on November 23 will make it clear whether the Mahayuti will return to power in the state or the MVA will be successful in forming its government.
