Farmer organizations are preparing to march to Delhi. In fact, under the banner of Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, farmers have announced a march on foot to the capital Delhi. Due to their march, security has been increased on the Ambala-Delhi border. Let us tell you that the farmers have planned the second such farmer march this week. On Monday, farmers from Uttar Pradesh tried to march towards Parliament, but they were stopped at the Noida border. According to reports, this march led by a ‘group’ of 101 farmers is going to start from Shambhu Border at 1 pm.
34 farmers were detained and sent to jail
According to the information, the farmer leader said that “A group of 101 farmers will march towards Delhi today. What the government will do is for them to decide. We will start our march towards Delhi from Shambhu Border at 1 pm.” The farmers’ march has now moved forward with the 297th day of protest against the government. Meanwhile, the indefinite hunger strike of farmers at Khanauri border has entered the 11th day. Let us tell you that earlier on Thursday, 34 farmers who were trying to reach Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal from Point Zero in Noida without permission were detained and sent to jail.
These are the main demands of the farmers marching towards Delhi
- In addition to MSP, farmers should be given loan waiver
- Implementation of pension for farmers and farm laborers
- No increase in electricity rates
- Farmer organizations demand justice for the victims of Lakhimpur Kheri violence of 2021,
- Reinstate the Land Acquisition Act 2013
- Additional reforms to improve the livelihood of farmers and laborers
- Demand to give compensation to the families of farmers killed during the last movement in the year 2020-21

Police is also keeping a close watch on other borders of Delhi
Regarding this march of farmers, the Ambala district administration has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of BNSS. In this, any illegal gathering of five or more people has been banned. Processions on foot, vehicles or other means have been banned. These restrictions will remain in effect till further notice. Apart from this, strict monitoring is also being done on other borders of Delhi. The police have not only put up barricades on the Ambala-Delhi border but have also deployed central paramilitary forces. Senior officers are monitoring the situation and vigilance has been increased.
