Their demands include increasing the tax free and tax exemption income limit to Rs 10 lakh, implementing a package for agriculture, increasing MNREGA work days to 200, expediting GST refunds and establishing a complete manufacturing strategy on import of Chinese products.

According to the information, representatives of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) (RSS demands to Nirmala Sitharaman) led by Pawan Kumar met Sitharaman on Monday and presented their recommendations to her. According to media reports, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh requested to increase MNREGA to ensure 200 working days per family annually. Apart from this, he requested a dedicated package for sectors requiring adequate labor, including plantations, beedi, agriculture and fisheries. Not only this, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh also demanded the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, tax exemption up to Rs 10 lakh and priority to OPS over NPS and UPS.

Swadeshi Jagran Manch, the economic wing of RSS represented by Ashwani Mahajan, raised concerns about trade imbalance with China. They also advocated comprehensive manufacturing policies, including tariff and trade measures to support domestic production. Laghu Udyog Bharati, an organisation representing small and medium enterprises, demanded speeding up the GST refund process, launching an amnesty programme for minor errors in GST filing, and GST rate adjustments.
