Actually, Rahul Gandhi reached Parbhani in Maharashtra on Monday. There Rahul Gandhi has taken the central government to task on inflation. On Tuesday, he shared a video on the social media platform X and wrote that “Garlic was once 40 rupees, today it is 400 rupees per kg. Rising inflation has spoiled the budget of the common man’s kitchen. The government is sleeping like Kumbhakaran.”

Gold will be cheaper but not garlic

Rahul has shared a video on X, in which he is asking the vegetable vendor in a vegetable market the prices of different vegetables. During this time, women were also seen with Rahul. One of them said, “Gold will be cheaper but not garlic.” Meanwhile, a woman said that “Turnips which were once available for 30-40 rupees per kg, are now available for 60 rupees per kg. Peas are available for 120 rupees per kg. Let us tell you that this vegetable market is of Giri Nagar. Rahul Gandhi told the women that “Inflation is increasing every year. This must be increasing the pressure on you.” Rahul asked whether “GST has increased inflation.” On this, the women said that “it has increased a lot.”

Somnath Suryavanshi was murdered because he was a Dalit

Let us tell you that Rahul had reached Parbhani in Maharashtra. In fact, violence broke out outside the railway station of Parbhani city located in Marathwada region on the evening of 10 December after the replica of the Constitution was damaged near the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Meanwhile, Rahul met the family of Somnath Suryavanshi, who died in judicial custody after being arrested after the violence. Rahul Gandhi accused the government that “Somnath Suryavanshi was killed because he was a Dalit and was protecting the Constitution.” He alleged that “Somnath Suryavanshi was killed by the police and this is a case of custodial death.”
