Jaipur Road Accident: Jaipur Road Accident: 5 Dead, more than 39 people in critical condition

A major road accident took place in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. A tanker filled with CNG gas exploded at a petrol pump located near DPS School, causing a massive fire. Several people and vehicles were set on fire. There was a long jam on the Ajmer highway, and more than a dozen vehicles were burnt to ashes. 

Multiple blasts 

According to eyewitnesses, first a CNG truck and another truck collided. After the collision, the CNG truck caught fire. After this, several explosions took place, due to which nearby vehicles were also hit. More than 20 vehicles were gutted in the fire. 

Bus also damaged in the accident 

A bus caught fire after colliding with a truck in Jaipur. The passengers in the bus escaped unhurt and saved their lives. In the incident, 12 persons were seriously injured. The injured people have been admitted to hospital. Locals, police and fire force personnel conducted the rescue operation. So far 5 people have died and 39 injured have been admitted to the hospital.

The accident occurred on Friday morning 

The accident took place near Bhankrota de Klothon at around 5.30 am on Friday. Several vehicles are still on fire. Police and fire personnel are still trying to extinguish the fire. 

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited the spot

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. He visited the spot and held discussions with the officials to find out the cause of the accident. The injured have been admitted to the SMS hospital.
