The mystery behind the suicide of Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineer Atul Subhash Modi is getting murkier by the day. Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania and other members of his in-laws have moved the Allahabad High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the case. The accused tried to escape and lodged a complaint with the police.
Singhania family files anticipatory bail plea
According to sources, the petition has been filed by Nikita Singhania along with her mother-in-law Nisha Singhania, brother-in-law Anurag Singhania and Sushil Singhania. The application was filed in the Registry of Allahabad High Court on December 13, 2024. The hearing is likely to take place on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Singhania family has appealed for a hearing on an urgent basis and plans to mention the case in the High Court on Monday so that it can be heard at the earliest.
