After several days of upheaval, BJP finally chose Devendra Fadnavis as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. In the meeting of BJP’s core committee members held on Wednesday, Devendra Fadnavis’ name was approved. Not only this, Fadnavis was also elected as the leader of the BJP’s legislative party. After Fadnavis was elected as the leader of the legislative party, all the parties of the grand alliance met Governor C. Radhakrishnan and presented their claim to form the government to the Governor. During this, Eknath Shinde handed over a letter to the Governor, in which Devendra Fadnavis was recommended to be sworn in as the Chief Minister. Today he will take oath as the Chief Minister for the third time. In this swearing-in ceremony, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar can take oath as Deputy Chief Minister.
Invitations have been sent to more than 400 saints
Talking about the preparations for the oath ceremony, they are in their final stage. The oath taking ceremony will start at 5:30 pm at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of NDA ruled states will attend this ceremony. According to media reports, invitations have been sent to more than 400 saints and sages in this oath taking ceremony, apart from this, all the veteran leaders of the Mahayuti will attend this ceremony. Special arrangements have been made for the arrival of more than 70 VIPs and VVIPs in this ceremony. Not only this, 1000 major beneficiary women of Ladli Behan Yojana have also been invited to this oath taking ceremony.

Around 42,000 people will attend this ceremony
BJP leader Prasad Lad said that “The oath taking ceremony will be very grand. About 42,000 people will attend it.” He further said that “Prime Minister Modi, nine to ten Union Ministers and 19 Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers will attend the ceremony. Apart from this, special arrangements have been made for 40,000 BJP supporters and separate seating arrangements have been made for 2,000 VVIPs. Meanwhile, security has been increased in Mumbai in view of the swearing-in ceremony. Mumbai Police has included 5 additional commissioners, 15 DCPs, about 700 officers and more than 4,000 security personnel for security.
