Meanwhile, the police has stopped the convoy of Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi going to Sambhal at Ghazipur border. During this time, Rahul Gandhi is accompanied by his sister and MP Priyanka Gandhi, as well as other big leaders of Congress. Politics has heated up over Rahul Gandhi’s going to Sambhal. Congress workers are angry at his being stopped and are creating a ruckus. The administration has also made arrangements to avoid any kind of ruckus. Due to the large number of barricades installed by the police, there is a jam situation on the UP border.

Entry of outsiders in Sambhal has been banned till December 10

According to the information received, Rahul Gandhi was going to visit Sambhal today. He was to meet the families affected by the Sambhal violence along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi. However, the administration has banned the entry of outsiders in Sambhal till December 10. This is the reason why the administration has also refused to allow Rahul Gandhi’s convoy to enter Sambhal. On Tuesday, the Sambhal DM had written a letter to the police captains of many districts, requesting them to stop Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are adamant on going to Sambhal

According to media reports, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have come out of the car after being stopped by the police. Senior police officers are present on the spot. They are trying to convince them. Even after explaining a lot, both are adamant on going to Sambhal. Seeing their leader’s convoy stopped, the uproar of Congress workers continues and slogans of Rahul-Priyanka Zindabad are being raised continuously. Not only this, on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai and other leaders tried to go to Sambhal. But, they were stopped midway.

The government definitely wants to hide something – Supriya Shrinet

On this matter, Congress leader Supriya Shrinet said that “It is Rahul Gandhi’s constitutional right to be careful.” She said that “If the UP police tries to stop him, then it will be assumed that they definitely want to hide something.” She further said that “Earlier also they had tried to stop political people. Why is this attempt being made? Why are political people not being allowed to go? What is being tried to be hidden?
