Recently, violence broke out in Sambhal district of UP over the survey of Shahi Jama Masjid. 4 people were killed in this violence. Dozens of people including policemen were injured. Due to this, the DM had ordered to stop any outsider from entering the district. Meanwhile, other parties including Congress and Samajwadi Party had announced to go to Sambhal. Leaders of any party are strictly prohibited from going to Sambhal. Despite the strict orders of the administration, Rahul Gandhi announced his visit to Sambhal. The administration is fully alert regarding his visit.
Administration did not give permission to Rahul Gandhi due to Section 163 being imposed
Moradabad Commissioner Anjaneya Kumar Singh had clarified that “Rahul Gandhi cannot be allowed to come to Sambhal district. He said that “the restrictions imposed by the District Magistrate are still in effect. And all legal measures will be taken to stop them.” According to media reports, due to Section 163 being imposed in Sambhal, the administration has banned Rahul Gandhi from coming to Sambhal. DM Sambhal sent a letter to the police officials of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Amroha and Bulandshahr demanding to issue instructions to stop Rahul Gandhi within the district limits.

There was a lot of uproar in Parliament once again on Tuesday regarding the Sambhal violence. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav surrounded the UP government in this matter and accused the officials of working arbitrarily. Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday slammed the BJP over the Sambhal violence in Uttar Pradesh and said that “this incident is a well-planned strategy of the BJP to divert the attention of the public from other important issues.” Targeting the BJP, Yadav said that “those who want to dig everywhere will one day lose the harmony and brotherhood of the country.”
