The violence against Hindus in Bangladesh is continuing and is not stopping. India’s silence is raising questions somewhere. The atrocities against minority Hindus in Bangladesh are such that Hindu monk Chinmay Krishna Das was arrested and charged with treason. Not only this, on November 29, two other monks who went to give him medicines in jail were also arrested. Meanwhile, requesting the Indian government to take a tough stand, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday demanded deployment of UN peacekeepers in Bangladesh. Not only this, she appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the matter so that the Hindu minorities in the neighboring country can be protected.
We will not tolerate attacks on Indians in Bangladesh at all – Mamata Banerjee
According to media reports, while addressing the winter session of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Mamata Banerjee said that “The Government of India can raise this matter before the United Nations. So that peace forces can be sent to Bangladesh.” She further said that our families, properties and loved ones are in Bangladesh. We accept any stand of the Government of India. But we condemn atrocities on religious grounds anywhere in the world. Not only this, we appeal to the central government and the Prime Minister to intervene. ” Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also said that “The Foreign Minister should inform the Parliament about India’s stand on the current situation in Bangladesh. Mamata Banerjee even claimed that “she has spoken to the head of ISKCON in Kolkata and expressed her support. And said that “If Indians are attacked in Bangladesh, we will not tolerate it at all.”

Mamata Banerjee is a Hindu-hater and a hypocrite: Amit Malviya
The BJP has come down heavily on Mamata, calling her stance for Hindus in Bangladesh crocodile tears. The party alleged that she herself had targeted Hindu religious organisations just to consolidate her Muslim vote bank. Meanwhile, Amit Malviya posted on social media platform X, “Mamata Banerjee should stop shedding crocodile tears for Hindus in Bangladesh.” Launching a scathing attack, Malviya said, “She is a vile and Hindu-hating hypocrite. West Bengal needs to get rid of her to avoid meeting the same fate as the Hindus of Bangladesh.”
