Preparations for the swearing-in of the Chief Minister have started in Maharashtra. Let us tell you that the result of Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 was announced last Saturday (23 November). In this, Mahayuti has got an absolute majority. BJP has become the largest party in the state by winning 132 seats. Even after this, why has the new government not been formed in the state till now and when will the Chief Minister of the new government take oath? In the next few hours, the top leadership of BJP can announce the name of the new Chief Minister of the state. Along with this, preparations to make the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister grand are going on internally but vigorously in the BJP. 

The swearing-in ceremony of the government will be held at Wankhede Stadium

As per the instructions received from the top leadership in Delhi, the swearing-in ceremony can be held either on November 30 or December 2. According to sources, a grand swearing-in ceremony will be organized at Mumbai’s famous cricket stadium Wankhede for the second term of the Mahayuti government and CM Devendra. In this way, this will be the second time that Wankhede will witness the swearing-in ceremony of Mahayuti and Devendra Fadnavis. Earlier in 2014, after the assembly elections, the swearing-in ceremony of Devendra and the Mahayuti government led by him was held at Wankhede. In this oath ceremony, many central ministers including RSS chief, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of the state will be present as chief guests.

The way for Devendra Fadnavis to become the Chief Minister has been cleared

Let us tell you that after the announcement of the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the speculation about the CM post in the Mahayuti for the last five days ended on Wednesday. Nationalist Congress Party’s national president Ajit Pawar, who is part of the grand alliance, has already announced that his party will fully support Devendra Fadnavis and BJP. Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, who was in the race for the CM post, also backed out on Wednesday. He announced that he and his party will fully support whoever Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah declare as the Chief Minister. This is the second chance for BJP to make its own CM in Maharashtra. Earlier, in the 2014 assembly elections, Devendra Fadnavis became the first BJP Chief Minister in Maharashtra
