Just a few days after returning to power after the grand victory of the Mahayuti alliance in the assembly elections, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has submitted his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis were also present with him. His resignation has come at a time when there is still suspense over who will be the next Chief Minister of the state. However, both Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde are competing to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Of course, due to the performance of BJP in the assembly elections, BJP is a strong contender for the post of Chief Minister, as it has emerged as the largest party in the state.
Once again our government will be formed in the state – Eknath Shinde
Meanwhile, before resigning, Eknath Shinde said that “After the big victory of Mahayuti, once again our government will be formed in the state. As a grand alliance, we fought the elections together and are together even today.” He further said that “Due to love for me, some supporters have appealed to everyone to gather together and come to Mumbai. I am very grateful for your love, but I appeal that no one should unite in my support in this way. Once again my humble request is that Shiv Sena workers should not gather at Varsha Niwas or anywhere else. The Mahagathbandhan has been and will remain strong for a strong and prosperous Maharashtra.”
