As soon as the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh began, miscreants have created a tense atmosphere in the area. Four people were killed and several injured in the violence. Opposition parties are holding the administration responsible for the Sambhal violence. Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav condemned the incident. Akhilesh Yadav and the party have prepared a delegation that will go to Sambhal and collect complete information about the incident. The names of 12 Samajwadi Party leaders are coming up in this delegation.

FIR registered on more than 700 people
The police have so far registered FIR on more then 700 peoples involved in violence in Sambhal district. According to media reports, more than 20 people have been arrested so far in the Sambhal violence cases. Cases have also been filed against more than 700 people, including local MP Ziaur Rahman Barq and the son of an MLA. At the same time, it is being reported that the delegation formed by Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has been stopped from going to Sambhal.
