1) Uddhav Thackeray agreed to these many seats after Congress stubbornness

Elections to the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly will be held on November 20, and the counting of votes will take place on November 23.

The situation became so tense that the police had to resort to firing on the protesters. Two persons, including a student, were injured. In an interview to a Bengali daily last week, President Mohammad Shahabuddin said: I have no paperwork to prove that Sheikh Hasina resigned as prime minister before she left the country in the wake of massive student-led protests in August. Following his statement, protests erupted.

6) The Bombay High Court grants bail to underworld don Chhota Rajan in the Jaya Shetty murder case

Chhota Rajan, one of the four accused in the 2001 murder of hotelier Jaya Shetty, has been granted bail on a bond of Rs 1 lakh by a division bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Prithviraj Chavan of the Bombay High Court. Significantly, earlier this year, Chhota Rajan was convicted for this crime and sentenced to life imprisonment. Rajan was arrested in Indonesia in 2015 and brought to Mumbai, and all pending cases against him were handed over to the CBI.

10) Odisha Civil Services Exam Postponed Due To Cyclone Dana
