The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the Haryana assembly elections for the third consecutive time. The BJP not only secured a majority in Haryana but also registered its best-ever performance in Jammu and Kashmir by winning a record 29 seats. The performance of the Congress in both states has been dismal. The BJP’s allies in the NDA are also rejoicing over the victory. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand will also have the same results as Haryana. “I am confident that the BJP will do the same in these states,” Naidu said. “The BJP has done wonders in Jammu and Kashmir, where it fought alone and emerged as the single largest party.”
Naidu supports’ one nation, one election
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his party’s victory in the elections. “The country is in dire need of ‘One Nation, One Election’ as frequent elections lead to wastage of money while hampering development works,” Naidu said. ”
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed happiness over the BJP’s victory in the assembly elections. “Congratulations and best wishes to the BJP on its hat-trick of victories in the Haryana assembly elections,” Nitish Kumar said in a social media post. People have reposed their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. JD (U) MP and Union Minister Lalan Singh also posted a message on social media saying, “The Haryana election results have once again proved that PM Modi and his policies are still popular in the country. This popularity continues to grow.”
