Security forces have achieved a significant victory in Jammu & Kashmir. Security forces have encountered three terrorists in two separate encounters inside Kupwara and Rajouri districts of the state.
Search Operation
The Indian Army had received information about infiltration, after which on the night of 28-29 August, the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police conducted two separate joint search operations in Tangdhar and Machhal area. During this, 3 terrorists who were infiltrating at both the places were encountered by the security forces.
However, the encounter and search operation of the security forces with the terrorists is still going on. More soldiers have been sent to the encounter site to eliminate the terrorists. The army has not yet recovered the bodies of the terrorists. Security forces fear that 2 to 3 more terrorists may still be hiding there.
Encounter between security forces and terrorists
Giving information about this operation in its X post, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said that the activity of terrorists was detected on the evening of 28 August. After which the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police immediately started a joint search operation. During this operation, security forces encountered one terrorist in Tangdhar, while two in Machhal district. Search operations are still going on at these places. Apart from this, an encounter is also going on between terrorists and security forces in Rajouri district. According to Jammu & Kashmir Police, during the search operation, security forces established contact with terrorists near Kheri Mohra area on August 28 at around 11:45 pm and firing took place.
Voting in Jammu & Kashmir
Let us tell you that assembly elections are going to be held in Jammu & Kashmir after 10 years. Voting will be held in three phases on 90 seats here and the results will be declared on October 4. Security forces have been deployed in large numbers to conduct the elections normally. The Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police are currently engaged in eliminating terrorists one by one.
