Union Minister Chirag Paswan, who calls himself the BJP’s Hanuman, has supported the nationwide caste census. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag said that ‘his party has always kept its stand clear on this. We want a caste census to be done.’ However, along with this, he also said that ‘if its figures are made public, then division will be created in the society.’

The government should have information about the number of that caste.

According to the news, Chirag Paswan said on the caste census that its big advantage is that many times the state and central government make plans to include a caste in the mainstream. In such a situation, the government should have information about the number of that caste so that the amount can be allocated accordingly. In fact, Union Minister Chirag Paswan has been elected president for five years in the National Executive meeting of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in Ranchi on Sunday (August 25). During this, Paswan said that ‘The National Executive in its meeting has re-elected me for the next 5 years.’

Earlier also, Chirag Paswan expressed his personal opinion on the caste census. He says that the caste census should be included in the next census. Chirag’s statement must have definitely raised lines of worry on the forehead of the BJP high command.
