Do you know the 7 amazing and miraculous Leela of Lord Shri Krishna?

Lord Krishna

Lord Krishna, who is considered to be the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, has performed many wonderful and miraculous deeds in his lifetime, which are still a source of inspiration and faith for devotees. His Leelas are not only important from a religious point of view but also convey messages of morality, love, and religion.

Let us know about the seven amazing and miraculous Leelas of Lord Krishna:

1. Putna slaughter

The first and most wonderful lesson of Lord Krishna’s childhood was the killing of Putana. Putana, who was a demon, was sent by Kansa to kill the newborn Krishna. She took the form of a beautiful woman, reached Gokul and started feeding her poisonous milk to child Krishna. But Shri Krishna took away her life force along with her milk, due to which Putana came to an end. This lesson showed that God had resolved to end evil since his birth.

2. killing of Kaliya Naag

A poisonous snake named Kaliya used to live in the Yamuna river, due to which the water of the river had become poisonous. Lord Krishna suppressed this snake in his childhood itself. He danced on the hoods of the serpent and drove it out of the Yamuna. This lesson tells us that Lord Krishna started the work of destroying evil and establishing religion in his childhood itself.

3. Lifting Govardhan Mountain

Another amazing lesson of Lord Krishna is to lift the Govardhan mountain on his little finger. To save the people of Gokul from the terrible rain sent by Lord Indra, Shri Krishna lifted Govardhan Mountain and sheltered everyone under it. This lesson gave the message that God can do any kind of difficult task to protect his devotees.

4. Butter theft, leela

Lord Krishna’s act of stealing butter is a wonderful example of his childishness and playfulness. This act of stealing butter from the houses of Gokul’s gopis not only shows his mischievous nature but also shows that he wanted to awaken the feeling of love and devotion in the hearts of his devotees.

5. Raslila

Raasleela of Lord Krishna is one of his major Leelas, which is a symbol of love, devotion, and dedication. By organizing Raasleela with the Gopis of Vrindavan, he gave the message that true love and devotion are the only paths to attaining God. Rasleela represents the highest state of spiritual love, where the union of the soul and the Supreme Soul takes place.

6. Draupadi Chirharan

During the Mahabharata, the act of Lord Krishna in the incident of disrobing of Draupadi was also amazing. When Dushasana wanted to disrobe Draupadi, Shri Krishna helped him and made her saree infinitely long. This lesson shows the quality of God—that he is always ready to protect his devotees.

7. The preaching of Srimad Bhagavad Gita

Preaching Geeta to Arjuna during the Mahabharata war is considered to be the most important leela of Lord Krishna. He showed Arjun the path of action, religion, devotion, and knowledge, and through Gita, he told the entire humanity the ideal way of life. This sermon is still a major source of religious, spiritual, and moral education today.
