It is said that women who observe the fast of Halashashti regularly fulfill all their wishes on this day. Childless couples get children, and the children get a long life.   • On the day of Balram Jayanti, devotees should especially take care of cleanliness and purity. The puja starts with taking a bath and wearing clean clothes. 
  • Install the idol or picture of Lord Balram at the place of worship and bathe it with Ganga water. After this, offer sandalwood, flowers, incense, lamps to Lord Balram.
  • Apply a tilak of turmeric and rice to Lord Balram and offer white clothes at his feet, as white color is considered a symbol of purity and sanctity. 
  • After this, chant the mantras of Lord Balram and do his aarti.
  • Keep roasted Mahua, paddy lava, roasted gram, wheat, tur etc. in the prasad of Halashasthi Devi.
  • After these ingredients, your worship is considered complete. After the puja, distribute the prasad among everyone and observe fasting.
